"Upside Down Cicada" by Debbie Oppermann. You hear the Cicada's singing in the trees but never seem to see them, so I was thrilled to see this green annual Cicada hanging upside down on my Trumpet flower leaf. They live in the ground as nymphs until the yearly emerging. They have huge compound eyes, transparent wings, short antennae and are really cute!
