"Compton Tortoiseshells On Poplar" by Debbie Oppermann. Spotting these three beautiful orange and brown spotted Compton Tortoiseshell Butterflies was a first me so I was quite excited. There were about four of these butterflies at one time on the Poplar trees in Guelph Ontario Canada in the fall.
