I felt the biggest rush of excitement when I first laid eyes on a White Grizzly Bear for the first time. Seeing a White Grizzly is an extremely rare occurrence, and one I never thought I would have. Much rarer than a Spirit Bear, which is actually a type of Black Bear, the recessive genes which cause a bear to be white is not common in Grizzly Bears. Bears are my favorite animal and it’s hard for me to put into words what this unforgettable moment meant to me.
