"Under The Leaf Umbrella" by Debbie Oppermann. I watched this agile, acrobatic Red Breasted Nuthatch for some time as it was quite energetic in the Maple tree in my front yard in Guelph Ontario Canada. The tiny songbird was searching for food in the nooks and crannies of the bark while be sheltered by the lone Maple leaf in fall.
