Better known as the Gray Jay or Canada Jay my late father always referred to them as Whiskey Jacks. At first, when it became Canada's national bird, I wasn't so sure I was in agreement as this being a good choice. Since having spent some time with them however, I have truly come to appreciate their character and intelligence, and as you can see, their beauty also.
