A frequent visitor along many shorelines the Greater Yellowlegs breeds in every province in Canada and is often seen wading in wetlands and along pond edges like this one, ate June and early July before it begins its return migration route south. This one stayed into September month and was distinctly brown suggesting it may have been a juvenile, though I am definitely not an expert so I could be wrong.
