In early December I stayed in a yurt in Mew Lake campground. There were a few pine martens that hung around the garbage bins and were able to enter them through a small gap at the back of the bin cover. When the lid was opened to deposit garbage, the marten would climb to the lid opening and look people over for a couple of minutes before dropping down to hunt for some leftovers in the bags.
