During a visit to the lake in Port Credit, Mississauga, I spotted this beaver feeding on fallen vegetation in a nearby pond. Half submerged in the water, the beaver hardly noticed our presence as it was fully devoted to its meal! Strong and resilient, the beaver has overcome many struggles from the past, but it is great to see that they have rebounded to become one of Canada's most iconic species
