Glistening

During a recent winter sunset, I captured this cattail plant standing still for a brief moment in the glow of the sun's rays as the wind blew speckles of snow around the plant making it look like glistening sparkles.

Beaver Snack

I captured this beaver retrieving twigs and branches in the nearby forest before dragging it back to this pond. With the sun glowing down on him, he barely noticed my presence as he was busy with his snack!

Out to Branch

During a recent hike, I spotted this beaver in the nearby brush selecting and carrying back several twigs and branches to a nearby pond. The beaver left the pond several times only to return to gnaw away on his tasty buffet brunch with his sharp, orange coloured teeth.

Fox Photoshoot

If you think a photoshoot with people is difficult, try doing one with young wild fox kits! While down at the Beaches in Toronto, I captured these young fox kits running around and exploring their new surroundings. During a brief moment, I was able to capture this image of the fox kits posing together like models during a photoshoot for a magazine cover.

A spot of Red

Photographing cardinals is amazing during any season, particularly during a snowy scene in the winter months. During a recent snowfall, I waited patiently for this male cardinal to make a landing on this branch covered in snow. I love the contrast a male cardinal makes with its bright red colouring and the fluffy white snow.
