During a recent snowfall, I was lucky enough to spot a group of female deer with a young doe. This particular deer stopped and gave me a stare with the trees and ground blanketed by snow around her almost to remind me that this is her forest. Winter can sometimes be the best season to photograph wildlife with foliage and trees bare making it easier to spot animals in the forest.
