Merlin on a Rural Telephone Box

I was driving in rural Ottawa, and saw this Merlin falcon on a small Bell Canada Telephone box along the side of the road. I expected it to fly away as my car got closer but it did not. Luckily I had my camera on my front seat, opened my car window and took some photographs before it ultimately flying away.
