I've watched these jumping spiders patiently wait for an unsuspecting fly to land close by and then just miss catching it. By my calculations, it's probably 1 in 4 attempts that prove successful, however, this spider made it worth its while by catching a fly that was a good size when compared to itself. After catching it, the spider moved to the underside of the leaf and ate its lunch.
