Yellow Warblers are found in the Ottawa area from spring to fall where they nest. Hard not to like their song in the spring. Amusingly, yellow-rumps have a tendency to chase each other more than most warblers do. They will also chase nonrelated warblers, some species more than others. Whenever I see a warbler chasing another one, it is often a Yellow Warbler bullying others. It seems to me that this behavior is more frequent at the end of the summer when they start migrating.
