A female raccoon has been returning to the same local tree each Spring for the past four years, to bring up her young family. The tree was badly damaged last winter but happily the raccoon was back again this year with her new family. I took this photograph as one of her young babies ventured a little outside to explore the ray of warm sunshine coming through the trees.
