Each evening at sunset, I would bike into the woods to photograph this young family of Great Horned Owls. I would respectfully keep my distance and admire them while I photographed them in there habitat. On this particular day, the mother owl felt protective. She flew over to her baby and stood on guard, giving me a clear message to keep my distance.
