I love watching River Otters, but they are tricky to photograph! They are usually soaking wet and fast. This guy had been eating, so he had been rolling around on the ice cleaning his fur. He stayed near the opening in the ice long enough to get a full shot of his body! They really are interesting animals! My favourite time to see them is when the ice is just opening up!
