This was a surprise moment, as a lot of encounters are. It was very early morning, super quiet and dewey! This young Algonquin Wolf Pup was on its own, exploring her new world! She slipped silently out of the grass in front of me, stopped for a moment, and crossed the path! I only had this brief moment seeing her, but I heard her howling a short time later. An adult howled back, and I left them to reunite!! So amazing!!
