I saw a Red Fox way across a snowy lake, waking along the edge of the forest. It was snowing quite hard. I anticipated where he may be headed, as there was a break in the trees ahead. I got there just in time to see this Fox catch a Muskrat! A first for me! I have seen them catch Squirrels, Chipmunks, Mice, Voles and Snowshoe Hares, but never a Muskrat!! He had a hard time carrying it at first, as it probably weighed more than the Fox. This is the image of him prancing across the ice with his catch of the day!!
